King explained that S-Slab Sonic features Salomon’s Pro fill film in the mid-foot area, which gives the shoe some added structural rigidity. Cushion and durability are obtained with Salomon’s Energy Cell+ midsole while the Sensifit upper cradles the mid-foot area to provide a snug, but comfortable fit. King also explained that the S-Lab Sonic is also slightly wider around the toe area, which can help keep the shoe comfortable if any swelling occurs.
