Timberland SensorFlex Shoe Technology Explained

During the 2013 Summer Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City, Utah, we had the opportunity to meet with Timberland to discuss some of the company’s latest shoe technology. We spoke with Gregg Duffy, Senior Director of Performance Footwear, who explained the company’s SensorFlex technology and how it works to provide added comfort.

According to Duffy, Timberland’s SensorFlex technology has a firm layer on top that provides firm support for you foot, and a softer mid-layer that provides cushioning from the bottom. Duffy compared the effect much like how a car suspension works.  The Sensor-Flex suspension technology will be available in a variety of hiking and casual shoe lines in the company’s Spring 2014 collection.  For more information, on Timberland’s current line, visit www.timberland.com
