Eureka’s Taron basecamp tent is a larger version of the company’s backpacking tent, but with lots more room for more occupants. We spoke with Erin Keefe at Eureka, who explained many of the tent’s features, including an interior panel that reflects light from any lantern hung in the center of the tent. It increases the interior light by 30 percent and features a heavy-duty strap to hang a heavy flashlight or LED lantern. The tent also features improved cross ventilation and a entrance that can be adjusted for inclement weather or used as a vestibule to keep your gear dry.
