My favorite place to spend time in the outdoors is the Grand Canyon. OK,…it sounds cliche. But with fantastic scenery, amazing trails, and world class rapids, it’s an outdoor paradise. Nothing compares to spending the night next to the mighty Colorado River on a white sandy beach with a cold beer in hand and a warm fire keeping off the desert night chill.
On a river trip a sleeping pad slip n’ slide costume party can kill the heat and entertain at the same time. There’s a reason its one of the wonders of the world!

For the sake of all of us who boat with Randy, he really needs pants. He spent 54 days on the Green and Colorado half naked except for this picture- in which he felt like those shorts would offer some protection against the ummm… elements.
