Lots of outdoor apparel feels good, but LooptWorks’ apparel also makes you feel good wearing it. Why? Because the company uses 100 percent pre-consumer waste. According to LooptWorks, more than 20 million tons of textile goes to waste each year. This makes LooptWorks’ apparel, such as the Perai Hoodie, distinctive, functional and a limited edition piece that can be the envy of your friends.
The Perai Hoodie is a perfect example. This lightweight jacket is made from 100 percent Cotton ribbed fabric that was abandoned in Indonesia. It’s blended with a micro-stretch cord and a four-by-four waist band that’s incorporated into the shoulders and cuff, making the jacket perfect for rock climbing and scrambling.
The Perai Hoodie looks good worn over a T-shirt and jeans, or a collard shirt with slacks for the office party or occasions calling for more upscale casual attire. Our jacket came in the darker chocolate color, but it’s also available in sand and retails for $75.
What we liked most about the LooptWorks Perai Hoodie, is that it was incredibly comfortable and dressier than standard exercise hoodies. We wore it outdoors hiking and light rock climbing, but also to a restaurant and to casual business lunch meetings. It’s also comforting to know, that there are only 159 of these jackets available, so you won’t have that awkward moment at a party when some other dude is wearing the same jacket…trying to be cool like you.
LooptWorks also has a variety of men’s and women’s apparel that are made in limited quantities. You can check out more of their products at www.looptworks.com
