Cross Country Skiing In Cameron Pass, Colorado

Liz LarkenI get my fresh air fix on my nordic skis on Colorado’s Continental Divide. Cameron Pass is a place where the Western Slope and North Park drop into the east through Cache La Poudre Canyon, the home of Colorado’s only designated wild and scenic river.

A day in the pines, cruising the trails with my dogs, and a drive back down to Fort Collins for a cold micro brew or a cruise through Walden on my way home to Craig is my idea of the perfect fresh air fix. Because I love both sides of the divide here, a ski on the top of the Rockies is my idea of paradise!

  1. You deserve to win. It’s crazy to think that some New Yorker who hiked a small hill could beat your adventures on the Continental Divide!

  2. How can you compare skiing Colorado to walking up a small hill in New Jersey?

    Give her the pants!

  3. Yeah, you gotta love a girl who goes both ways – umm, I mean likes to ski both sides of the divide.
