Salomon’s Whisper II Tee is too good to be kept secret. Feminine features and professional technologies come together to give a girl a run for her money. To condition the thighs and calves for scheduled bike rides on Mount Shasta this summer, we took an Elliptical machine experience with the Whisper Tee at the gym; and a misty morning jog along the roadside as well, and found it to be highly resistant to perspiration.
While some high performance athletic shirts for women can be on the tighter side of tight, the Whisper II Tee is a welcome change in its relaxed fit. More conducive to less restricted activities, I felt comfortable on the elliptical. The soft Peached-Jersey knitted fabric joined forces with the same actiLITE technology I recently experienced in Salomon’s XT Long Sleeve Softshell. Nice roomy shoulders allowed for full extension on the elliptical, while sweat was wicked away with the actiLITE. It’s a nice feeling not to have the back dripping with sweat in a crowded gym.
There were some options here on our run that I liked. The Whisper II Tee is ideal for taller woman. Due to the slight extension in the abdomen area, worn with leggings, it was nice to stretch the shirt down on the hips to give a tighter fit in accommodating me on our run. In doing so, the reflective logos were better seen by motorists; and while the sun captured the logo’s design, it kept us protected with the climaUV 50 protection in the fabric.
Summer to spring color ways are Fuchsia, Aqua and White. For a suggested retail price of $45.00, inside and outside, Salomon’s Whisper Tee will shore up nicely in your workouts, that’s for sure.
